Paul Sloggett, MAD (1972)
A double Senecan recipient of a 2006 Distinguished Alumni Award, Paul graduated from Municipal
Administration in 1972 and came back to teach in 1983. Paul is now the coordinator and a professor
with the Real Property Administration program and the Financial Services Underwriting program.
Paul sees value in merging the fresh ideas of new graduates with the maturity of earlier grads
to build a vibrant Alumni Association.

Vice President
Sina Safarzadeh Amiri, MKAC (2006)
Sina Safarzadeh Amiri is the Director of Business Development at
Medworxx Inc. (TSXV:MWX) and a member of IAHSS, ASHRM, and HIMSS. Prior
to joining Medworxx, he was the Marketing Manager for a private
healthcare IT company and held positions with General Motors and
Deloitte. At the age of 21, he was ranked as “Canada’s Top 32” by the
Impact Entrepreneurship Group. Sina S. Amiri earned his marketing
specialization in New Product Launch and Product Line Management through
Seneca’s advanced Marketing Administration Program and received his
enterprise sales training on healthcare-centric IT solutions early on
through Avnet, Inc. (NYSE:AVT).

Director
Ryan Rampaul, BAD(1999)
Ryan Rampaul is a Financial Analyst with Santa Maria Foods, ULC, a Gourmet Deli food company in Brampton,
Ontario. Prior to this, Ryan held positions in Finance, Sales and Operations with a home security company.
In June of 2007 Ryan received his Bachelor of Commerce in Finance while working full time, and is currently
pursuing a designation as a Chartered Financial Analyst. In his spare time, he is cultivating his Financial
education skills by sharing what he has learned about credit, taxes and financial planning to those around him.
He has also served as a President for his company's Toastmaster club.

Melissa Wiseman, RLSC (2004), RFMC (2005)
Melissa Wiseman is a graduate of two of Seneca's programs - Recreation
Leisure Services 2004 and Recreation Facilities Management, 2005.

Currently, she is an employee of the College - a Department Coordinator
in the Athletics Sports and Recreation area at the Newnham Campus.
Melissa is a Toronto native with a sporting background - she is a
fitness and nutrition enthusiast.
In addition to serving on the Alumni Board of Directors since 2006, she
is an active participant in Gaelic Football in the O.G.F.A.

Ash Nagre, MKT(2002)
Ash Nagre is employed as a Business Development Manager, Bell Conferencing Inc. and is responsible
for developing and marketing Audio, Video, Web Conferencing and Web Casting in Ontario and the
United States. He has the added responsibility of projecting a positive image of Bell Canada
internationally and is the 2008 Ambassador of National Events that include corporate, consumer,
sponsorship, charitable and community based events organized by Bell Canada Enterprise. Ash was past
president of CTEA Sales and Communication, Bell Canada Employees Union from 2004-2006. He successfully
negotiated the contract for salary, wages and benefits. For the past seven years he has been the
organizer for Bell Walk for Kids help phone in Toronto and Mississauga. Ash is an editor member of
Bell net, an in-house quarterly newspaper of Bell Canada Enterprises. Ash is enjoys helping people
and is willing to share his knowledge and skills and experiences.

Kevin Voll, ADT (1993)
Kevin Voll is employed by the accounting firm Prenick Langer LLP and deals with the accounting, tax and business
needs of owner/managed businesses and individuals. His experience ranges from national firms to the small
local firm. Prior to graduating from Seneca Kevin attended the University of Western Ontario and earned
his CA and CFP designations.
In his spare time Kevin teaches part-time. He has taught at many of the colleges in the GTA and Ontario for
both part and full time studies and is currently employed as a accounting instructor at Sheridan College.
He is familiar with the needs of today’s student. Kevin has been on the Board of Directors for the Civitan Club
and Alliance Club as well as a volunteer advisor for Junior Achievements company program in the GTA for many years.

Kim Child, HRA (2000)
Kim Graduated in 2000 from the Human Resources Management program. After completing her
Seneca diploma, she attained her CEBS designation through Dalhousie University. Taking
life-long learning to heart, Kim has also attained: LTCP designation, AHIP; Licensed Insurance
Advisor, LLQP; Direct Marketing Certificate, CMA
Kim is the Manager, Marketing and Account Management, Manulife Financial, but also works as a
Continuing Education professor for CEBS courses at George Brown College.
Kim has been involved in a number of Seneca Alumni events over the past number of years,
including as the Keynote speaker at the Feb 2008 LEAP (Leaders Engaged in Advocacy Program) event.

Neil Ta, INB (2001)
Neil graduated from Seneca’s International Business program in 2001. After completing his
Seneca diploma, Neil went on to Ryerson University where he was awarded a Bachelor of Commerce
Degree in 2003. Following university, he was chosen to participate in a Department of Foreign
Affairs and International Trade internship in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where he spent six-months
working for the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam.
Today, Neil is employed as the Marketing Manager for CCAB/BPA Worldwide.
Neil is also an active board member of the Ryerson University Business Alumni Association since 2006.
Neil reconnected in 2007 with Seneca – volunteering to participate with the Alumni Association.
In August of 2008, he sat on the Board By-law review subcommittee.

Felisha Ali,ACC (1996)
Felisha moved to Canada (from Trinidad) in 1994 where she began the ACC diploma at Seneca. While
still a student, she was Vice President and then for a short period of time President of the
Seneca West Indian Association.
Felisha graduated from the ACC program in 1996 and also graduated with High Honours from the
Adult Education/Staff Training and Development program in 2003.
Currently, Felisha is a College employee - Publications and Communications Officer, Office
of the Registrar. She has worked for the College for 14 years, in a variety of positions.
Felisha has also been a part-time instructor for the Computer Specializations Dept. in FCE since
2000.

Immediate Past President
Ryan Mitchell, IBU (1999), HRM (2000)

Ryan Mitchell continued his education after Seneca, by completing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
at the Bishop's University. Now with CIBC Imperial Service, he is working as a Financial Advisor. Ryan also
served in the NATO Canadian peacekeeping forces in Bosnia - Herzegovina in 2004 and is still
an active member of the Reserves. At Seneca, Ryan held various student leadership and government positions
including President of the Student Council, while involved in Varsity Rugby and community
events.

Honourary Director
Desmond Duke (MET 92)

Desmond graduated in 1992 from the Mechanical Engineering Technology program. He was a member of the Men's
Varsity soccer Team and the Newnham Student Federation (SFC), served as SFC president and student representative
on the Seneca College Board of Governors, and was the 1992 recipient of the Seneca Cup.
Desmond is completing his second term on the Alumni Board, prior to becoming president as senior
vice-president for three years. In "real life," he is building operations supervisor for Angus Consulting
Management Limited, with responsibility for IBM Canada headquarters at 3600 Steeles Avenue East in Markham.
Despite a demanding career and his Alumni duties, Desmond still finds time to work a weekly shift in the
Continuing Education office at the Newnham Campus.
