The 2010 TVO Best Lecturer Competition recognizes the best and brightest professors in Ontario's post-secondary school system. The Best Lecturer Competition invites Ontarians to nominate professors who have shown exemplary commitment to their subjects and students.

In the past the competition was geared largely to universities but in the last two years organizers have worked to include colleges and have seen a marked increase in nominations for college professors.

This is an excellent opportunity to grow awareness of the exceptional teaching that takes place here at Seneca, increase Seneca's profile on the academic front in a competition that involves both colleges and universities, and to recognize those individuals who stand out in the classroom.

For the 2010 competition students, staff, colleagues and alumni will be able to nominate their favorite lecturer until Monday, October 12.

Please take a moment to consider which professors in your faculties are consistently commended for their lecture style and regarded as leaders in engaging their students, then ensure they are nominated by yourselves, colleagues, students or alumni.
