As part of Seneca College’s Webmaster Content Site Design program, students are asked to design and develop a website for a business, client, or project at no charge. The website is reviewed by the instructor and forms part of their evaluation for the course. Individual students design the sites and are responsible for contacting the client, understanding their business requirements for the website, developing a plan and then implementing the design. We are always looking for clients to work with our students.
If you can benefit from a free website design - please contact me. There are limited opportunities but we are hoping to build a list of clients for future semesters.
You supply:
- business information,
- website objective,
- logos and
all website content
You identify other websites as examples or visions of their own site - ie. sites you like the LOOK OF but NOT the content.
Given the limitations of time and students, you should ensure that the scope of the website is not too ambitious. For example, websites that require e-commerce transactions, large volumes of information or specialized authoring tools should be avoided for a Seneca student project.
