Seneca Presidential Search Update

December 3, 2008

The active recruiting phase of the search for Seneca’s new President is well underway.

Ray & Berndtson, the executive search firm assisting the Presidential Search Committee, has experienced extremely positive response to its networking and outreach efforts, and a number of outstanding candidates are in development. Response to national and international advertisements, as well as on-line and print postings, has also been very positive.

Ray & Berndtson expects to wrap up its candidate development efforts by the end of this month. The Committee plans to begin its review of candidates in January 2009, with the interview process to begin in February 2009.

If you are aware of someone whom you believe to be an excellent candidate, we encourage you to refer Ray & Berndtson to them, and/or to refer the individual to Ray & Berndtson. The contact person is Jennifer MacIntyre – 416-366-1990, ext 327 or jennifer.macintyre@rayberndtson.ca.

We would like to sincerely thank all of the internal and external stakeholders and friends of Seneca who have participated thus far in the search process; your input and assistance have been invaluable to our progress.

Jean Anne McLeod
Chair, Presidential Search Committee
