Getting back to basics – Part 2!
In this edition, I’d like to focus on the ‘Hidden Gems’ of our Affinity Partnerships
First, you may be asking: What is an Affinity Partnership? In it’s most simple form, an Affinity Program is a win-win-win agreement between the Alumni Association and a service provider:
- The Service provider offers a rate to Seneca Alumni that is tough to get if you’re ‘just anybody’, and has the opportunity to market to the 100,000+ members of the Seneca College Alumni Association (all marketing, offers and discounts are contracted by and agreed to by the Seneca Alumni Association staff – Bill Jones or myself)
- The members of the Alumni Association receive that discount – and derive a benefit in staying connected to Seneca College through the Alumni Association
- The Alumni Association receives a revenue stream back from the service provider, based on a specified formula in the contract
